Very very helpful and excellent staff always on hand. A multi-channel TV, a sitting area and a writing desk in the room, ideal and magnificent location. The pool area is great too.

The room was comfortable and had airy, comfortable beds, and the on-site bar offered alcoholic drinks, and there was a wide array of breakfast options available.

The room was huge and the ensuite was also very big. Modern hotel and good value for €60 per room. Very comfortable. We used this hotel for a short overnight stay en route from Santander to Gibraltar and had no intention of staying for a long time. Food was good but we had to order from the very quiet bar as self service was shut ?? June 2011
This hotel is a nightmare to find. I would suggest a really up to date sat nav and make sure your know where you are going before you set off. Instructions on the site are poor. We actually found two or three different descriptions to get there. I don't think I could find it again and this time it was after an hour and a half by chance !! It would be useful to put up some sign posts !! It is off the main e5 road and no where near the towns at all, but in which direction.....try them all !! The pool was also empty ! June 2011

Room spacious clean and modern
I have stayed at this hotel on two occasions. On each occasion most of the staff were pleasant but the manager appears to have been employed based on his ability to make customers feel ill at ease and that they are there as a favour to him. They also have a strange account settlement arrangement. On my first stay my rate was for bed and breakfast but I also had an evening meal in the restaurant and signed for this on my room. returning through reception I was stopped and an investigation was made into why I had not paid for the meal in the restaurant. When I explained that the waiter had told me to sign and that this was normal prcedure throughout the world with the account being settled on checkout, the manager said this was not possible and that I would have to pay now. I was quite happy to pay then anyway but all this fuss for some thing which seems to be a quirk of theirs, was made in front of other guests and with no appologys.

Our twin room was airy, large. The bathroom we had included a hairdryer, a bidet and bath sheets and a bidet. The setting of hotel was good, to Ferry at Santander. Moreover, it was very close to excellent restaurant and staff, and Merida.

We stayed at Hotel Romero for one night as a stopover between Santander and the Algarve. The large and clean room had comfortable beds, and the bathroom facilities were also clean and functional. The wifi in the room was good, and the reception staff were pleasant. We enjoyed the motorway service cafeteria for both dinner and breakfast, with delicious food at a great price. Additionally, there was a large swimming pool for the hotel guests to use.
Recommend this hotel.

A modern hotel right on the Autovia south of Merida. ideal
No really secure motorbike parking, although reception 24/24. Restaurant was shut, so had to make do with bar food.

Very nice hotel in a perfext spot if your are travelling as we were down through Spain. Very large room and very comfortable.
The water for the shower was not very hot and the resturant was slightly disappointing.

Our stay at Hotel Romero was perfect for our journey. The location was conveniently close to the highway, with easy access and plenty of parking. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. The young lady, Maria, at the reception was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The restaurant next door was excellent value for money with friendly staff. We would definitely return.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with comfortable beds and basic amenities like toothbrushes and combs provided. The hotel's location just off the motorway made it incredibly convenient for travelers like myself. The staff were friendly and the service was efficient.
Everything was satisfactory, no improvement necessary.
